Roots at Buttermilk Falls Buttermilk Falls are located in the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap, a National Recreation Area along the Delaware river. The falls are about 90’ high, and accessible by dirt road. These roots are along the trail leading to the top of the falls.
