Bass Harbor Lighthouse – Acadia National Park

Bass Harbor Light is located on Mt. Desert Island, part of Acadia National Park. It was built in 1858 to warn mariners of the Bass Harbor Bar near the entrance to the harbor. Flashing a bright red light, it is still in use today.
