Bodie, CA

Bodie is a ghost town in east central California, east of Yosemite National Park. Located above the tree-line, Bodie is one of the largest ghost towns in the US. It is now a state park, maintained in a state of “arrested decay”, meaning that the state tries to keep it in a constant condition, not allowing decay, but also not restoring it to previous conditions.
