Rust and BarnaclesThis is a detail of the hull of the wreck of the Peter Iredale. The Peter Iredale was a four-masted British sealing ship, which ran aground on the Oregon coast near the mouth of the Columbia River during a storm on October 25, 1906. Today, the remains of the ship are easily accessible during low-tide, in the Fort Stevens State Park. |
